Loving Elizabeth Nelson. This book is exactly what I expected and a whole lot more. The characters are well written and played. I say played because when I read I visualize it in my mind. I love to read for this reason. There is a lot I do not like in the book only because I like the happy ending type books. This keeps you hanging. I would say he is the kind of man I hate most, but it makes for a hot hot book. Obviously it makes it hard to explain my facial features when reading this. So this is a mommy's read alone book lol. This was a good book. The only thing I didn't like was it was a cliff hanger.
Keeps you wanting more...can't wait to see what happens next with Ali and Riley.
I am loving Riley and Ali. I am dying to know how these new developments will affect their blooming relationship.
In paid for this one,but even shorter story than the vol 1.
WOW This story was exciting and excellent Everything about the situation of the characters were great in this story. I enjoyed reading this author's books, she has amazing way to put her stories right out there. The relationships between the characters were incredibly awesome. ENJOY
When Riley leaves in the middle of sex, he goes and brings in another girl for a three way. Ali is shocked but goes along with it. Afterwards they exchange numbers. When Riley tries to call it's been disconnected. So while he's wanting her, he's still having sex with other girls. When she finally gets up the nerve to call him, he asks for a date. It's not for a week and in the meantime he has sex with his boss. As they leave the restaurant, she sees her dad with another woman who is not her mom. This is where it ends. Ok now I know they aren't a couple but still having sex with other girls while he's interested in her is just wrong to me. He thinks he really likes Ali but doesn't want to change. Meaning being monogamous.
The Games We Play Volume 2 is a well written short story that leaves you hanging at the end. Ali is a sweet girl who got cheated on and dumped by her high school sweetheart; she then immediately falls head over heels for Riley after some kinky sex. Riley is an all around "sex machine" and is in no way the commitment type that Ali wants. A few days after seeing Riley, Ali and Hilary decide to go out and grab dinner and drinks...when they run into someone unexpected with a new girl on his arm! Ali finally talks to Riley and they decide to go on a date, which he has all planned out to impress and seduce her. While at leaving the restaurant, Ali sees something she never expected and it has her questioning everything! The name of this book definitely fits, Ali and Riley are constantly playing games with one another. Each one of them tries to appear nonchalant about the other while secretly swooning over one another. This story has given me mixed feelings about the characters; I want to slap Riley for being such an ass and sleeping with every vagina available! I know that he has reservations about his feelings and he is trying to avoid anything emotional; I hope that his character grows in the next book! I know that Ali just got out of a relationship and she is vulnerable, also looking for comfort to get over Pat. She knows that Riley is a player but she pursues him anyway, knowing full well that she is setting herself up for disappointment. I want to see her get stronger; although she has fallen for Riley, I hope that she realizes she deserves everything from the man that she opens herself up to, including monogamy.
